Pesto pasta

The ultimate fast dinner: a jar of pesto loosened with pasta water so it coats every piece.

⏱ 15 min🍽 Serves 4

Ingredients

• 🍝Pasta400 g
• •Pesto190 g
• •Salt
• 🧀Grated cheese40 g
• •Basil

Method

1. Cook the pasta in a large pan of boiling salted water, as the packet says.
2. Spoon the pesto into a large bowl.
3. Scoop out half a ladle of the cooking water and stir it into the pesto.
4. Drain the pasta and tip it into the bowl.
5. Toss well, adding a little more water if needed, and serve with grated cheese and a few basil leaves.

💡 Tip : Do not heat the pesto in the pan: the basil turns dark and loses its flavour.
