French yogurt cake

The first cake French children learn to make, measuring everything with the yogurt pot.

Ingredients

• 🥣Yogurt125 g
• 🍬Sugar160 g
• 🌾Flour210 g
• 🥚Eggs3
• •Oil60 ml
• •Baking powder2 tsp
• 🍋Lemon1

Method

1. Heat the oven to 180 °C. Butter a loaf tin or round cake tin.
2. Empty the yogurt into a bowl. Add the sugar (2 pots) and the eggs, and whisk.
3. Add the flour (3 pots) and baking powder, then the oil (half a pot), and mix until smooth.
4. Add the lemon zest if you like.
5. Pour into the tin and bake for 35 minutes, until a knife pushed into the centre comes out clean.

💡 Tip : Keep the empty pot to measure with: that is the whole point of the recipe.
